Our Programs
Two interconnected pillars for holistic development
Education Pathways
Future Pathways Program
The Future Pathways Program (FPP) is Pathways’ flagship, residential and highly selective 18-month program. It is designed for students who demonstrate strong academic readiness, discipline and capacity to benefit from intensive preparation for higher education.
Access Pathways Program
Running concurrently with FPP is the Access Pathways Program (APP), a one-year program designed for students who demonstrate strong potential and alignment with Pathways’ values but are not selected for the resource-intensive FPP.
Community Pathways
Children Enrichment Pathway
The Children Enrichment Pathway is designed to support the holistic development of children in the local site community, focusing on early literacy, reading clubs, creative arts, and emotional growth.
Employment Pathway
This includes all salaried staff, managers and general workers directly employed by Pathways. These individuals are essential to the daily functioning of the organisation and the maintenance of its physical site.
Partnerships Pathway
Pathways recognises that sustainable impact requires collaboration. The Partnerships Pathways category governs all formal relationships with external individuals, institutions and organisations that contribute expertise, services, or resources to Pathways.
Small-Scale Enterprises Pathway
These enterprises are established and owned by Pathways but operated in collaboration with members of the local community. Their purpose is twofold: to provide livelihood opportunities for community members and to generate modest, ethical income streams that support the organisation’s mission.
Our Foundation
We have successfully invested over ZMW 17,000 (> $940) in the Partnership Pathway. This is just the beginning of our journey to empower local change-makers and make Pathways and the Organisation at large self-sufficient.
Our Next Milestones
Scaling Our Future: The Search for a Home
The Goal: Identifying and acquiring a dedicated physical space to serve as the permanent hub for all Pathways programs.
Current Status: Actively scouting strategic locations that align with our mission of community enrichment and accessibility.
The Vision: A self-sufficient center for local change-makers to gather, train, and launch new enterprises.
Pathway Expansion: Scaling for Greater Impact
Growing the Network: We are actively seeking new strategic partnerships with local businesses and organisations to increase our reach and deepen our community roots.
